About us
Welcome to The Bronte, your place to be inspired, become empowered and be yourself. We’re the only community centre in Liverpool's city centre and our immediate area is one of the most deprived in the country, ranking 4th out of 317 local authorities that are most deprived in England (2019). At The Bronte, you'll find kids crafting, older kids doing martial arts, parents laughing over coffee and people picking up brand new skills. People come to us for youth clubs, children’s activities, school holiday playschemes and residentials, as well as practical support, welfare advice and so much more. We were over the moon when we raised over 3 million pounds to transform our building, bringing vibrant new spaces and exciting opportunities just a stone’s throw from Lime Street station. But soaring inflation has made our building costs spiral. And it’s really important that we don’t scale back our plans. Now you have an opportunity to be part of the regeneration of Liverpool and help our wonderful youth and community centre keep changing lives in Merseyside. Be a part of the Bronte Big Build. With your help we can make sure we build a better Bronte - one that’s ambitious, environmentally sustainable and economically self-sufficient, so it can stand on its own two feet. We have corporate sponsorship and attractive membership packages, alongside fundraising and other opportunities to help you reach your ESG and EDI goals and more. Get in touch for more information.

We were so incredibly honoured to welcome LFC legends Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard down to The Bronte last Friday! It was an incredibly special day for our young people and local community as Gerrard and Carragher came back to open our newly renovated pitch 25 years after they opened the pitch originally. Their visit brought the community together and highlighted what a positive impact sports has the young people who attend The Bronte. A huge thank you to everyone who came down and joined us in making this event so special. We're so grateful to have the opportunity to create these experiences for young people across Merseyside 👏 ⚽ #brontecentre #liverpoolyouth #lfc

Last week, we had the chance to visit our amazing Bronte building on site again and see how much it's taking shape! We have came along so far in the last few months and finally, only a few more touches left to be put in place until our gorgeous Bronte building is complete. We cannot wait to show off our new building and have the entire community along to enjoy our brand new facilities 👏 #bronteyouthclub #brontecentre

A huge thank you to HA Civils, Louise Ashton and their civil logistics team for stepping in to help us move this equipment that was kindly donated by Cirq de Play! Your support makes a real difference and ensures that our young people will have access to more resources at The Bronte once we open the doors on our brand new building soon! We're so grateful for the community spirit that keeps places like The Bronte running! 👏 #communitysupport #youthwork
Helping out in the Community. The Bronte Youth and Community Centre reached out for assistance in moving some industrial equipment donated by Cirque Du Play to their youth club. Funding for charities and youth programs is extremely tight at the moment, so we are more than happy to lend a hand when needed in our local community. Thank you, Jay Garcia and our civils logistics team, for making this happen. HA Civils #hameansmore #youthwork
