Another successful trip completed for Xias Bio in this busy event season!   New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists showcased the latest innovations and trends from #cosmetics and #PersonalCare research and development. Previous spotlight trends from in-cosmetics Global and Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna were still gaining momentum here, such as consumer demand for sustainability, skin longevity, the elevation of #haircare and #biotech to futureproof ingredient innovation. Whilst #sustainability is still a top priority for consumers, #biodegradation of products is now the key focus, suggesting environmentally savvy consumers are educating themselves further on how sustainable products should perform.  Biotech-derived #peptides as alternatives to natural sources, precision #fermentation and #BarrierRepairing yeast ferment lysates are increasingly becoming go-to sources for the next generation of high performing active ingredients, whilst not compromising on sustainability.
