Airbus this weekend is out in force at Air Legend airshow in Melun-Villaroche, France. Our Heritage team is presenting the Messerschmitt Me262 in flight and on static display. We also showcase the amazing restoration project of a French fighter, the VG 33, of the 1930s designed and built by a predecessor company of Airbus: Arsenal de l'aéronautique with the fuselage and 12 cylinder Hispano Suiza engine displayed on our stand. We are displaying a visual retrospective of French combat aircraft of the 1930s built by our French predecessors at many of the current Airbus sites in France. Spectators can see in flying and static display a large number of aircraft and helicopters connected to Airbus' history such as the Fouga Magister, Morane Saulnier MS405, SA341 Gazelle, Morane Saulnier Paris and Fouga Zéphyr. Not to forget of course Airbus' current range of aircraft, represented by the Airbus Helicopters EC665 Tiger & NH90 and the impressive A400M which are showcased by the French armed forces.
