Dan Schwaab, Altra's Executive VP of Retail Operations, is celebrating 30 years here at Altra! Thirty years ago, Dan walked into Altra fresh out of college at UWL and became a Teller. What started as a first job post-grad, quickly grew into a lifelong career filled with opportunity, growth, and impact! Over the years, Dan served as a Loan Officer, managed multiple branches, and now oversees Retail branches across six states, along with our Member Contact Center, Lending Center, and E-Services teams. "I often tell people there are two things that have kept me at Altra for 30 years. First, the fantastic culture, I get to work with so many talented people every day. I’ve been fortunate to build lifelong connections and friendships with my coworkers and to watch others around me grow both personally and professionally. Altra is committed to the communities we serve and giving back! We're excited to celebrate another successful year of our High School Spirit Instant Issue Debit Card Giveback Program. During the 2024-2025 school year, we partnered with local schools within our core markets to offer our members a school-branded debit card. Each time the school debit card was chosen, $5 was donated back to that school! This program not only gives back to local schools, but also lets our members show off their school spirit every time they use their card.
