Since opening our doors in 2022, our LA team has had the privilege of caring for hundreds of individuals living with severe mental illness, and demand for our integrated, psychiatry-led care has continued to grow. To better serve this community, we’re expanding into a larger clinic that will allow us to care for more patients, add additional group programming, and offer new services. We’re thrilled to welcome Logan Kendall to the Amae Health team as our new Head of Data! Logan brings 15+ years of experience turning complex healthcare data into solutions that support smarter decisions at the point of care. Most recently, he served as Head of Technology at Hopscotch Primary Care, where he built the data and product infrastructure underpinning their care model to support rural communities. Previously, Logan spent seven years at Palantir Technologies as a healthcare-focused data leader, designing and delivering large-scale analytics solutions for payers, government health agencies, and other complex healthcare organizations. We are thrilled for Logan to apply this experience to our rapidly growing data assets, turning them into meaningful, timely insights that enable our clinicians to deliver better, more personalized care for our patients at scale. We’re excited to announce that Amae Health has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Altos Ventures to accelerate our mission of advancing towards a cure for individuals with severe mental illness (SMI). This investment will fuel three critical initiatives: • Advance our AI-powered precision care platform • Deepen and grow partnerships with leading health systems • Expand our psychiatry led, in-person and longitudinal whole person care At Amae we believe that the future of severe mental illness care is in-person, whole-person, and outcomes-driven. Since opening our first clinic in Los Angeles in 2022, we’ve reduced 30-day readmission rates to under 4% (compared to ~23% nationally) and seen life-changing SMI symptom improvements for our patients nationwide. This next chapter will allow us to build on that foundation and move even closer to what we define as a cure: sustained remission, quality of life, and full integration of physical and behavioral health.
