Wow - what an impressive, informative and inspiring address. And…, he had the longest line of attendees at the microphones for questions! He stayed at the podium and answered 45 minutes of inquisitive questions from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division young and 'seasoned' professionals!*! Mr. Reddy reviewed the History and Heritage of the US Navy. He identified the #SECDEF's the #SECNAV's, #USD(A & S) and #USD(R&E) priorities for: *Acquisition Reform *Reestablish Deterrence, *Rebuild Our Military *Restore Warrior Ethos *Revitalizing the defense industrial base: creating competition, building a modern and lethal arsenal. *Deliver capability at speed and scale *Rebuild a more resilient defense industrial base *Strengthening naval capabilities, particularly shipbuilding. *Relentless focus on execution, innovation, and accountability. *Fostering an adaptive, accountable, and innovative warfighter culture. Restoring our commercial shipbuilding sector will help restore our defense industrial base." "Readiness is the Navy's North star.
