ATL is the first airport in the U.S. to launch CLEAR new automated electronic gates (eGates)in partnership with TSA — a major leap forward in travel tech and security. 🙌 The eGates, now operational at ATL’s Lower North Checkpoint within the CLEAR Plus lane, use biometric-enabled identity verification to streamline security screening while maintaining the highest safety standards. 💬 “At ATL we are constantly seeking ways to improve the passenger experience while maintaining the highest security standards,” said Airport General Manager Ricky Smith. “The introduction of CLEAR's automated eGates in partnership with TSA reflects our commitment to making travel more seamless, efficient and ready to meet the demands of the world stage.” ATL’s Deputy General Manager of Commercial Revenue Tyronia Smith, Esq., C.M. and Assistant General Manager of Operations Jordan Biegler, A.A.E., CEM, FMP welcomed CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman Becker, emphasizing the strong partnership driving this pilot program forward. The Honorable Mayor Andre Dickens joined Aviation to congratulate and thank employees for their generosity in the United Way Employee Giving Campaign. The Aviation Department raised $42,238 through 224 donors, making it the highest-contributing City department in support of the citizens of Greater Atlanta. As Mayor Dickens mentioned, “Atlanta is known as the City Too Busy to Hate, but we are never too busy to give.” In total, City of Atlanta employees raised $123,494 for United Way.

Invited by H.E.
