At the University of Houston's Centennial Hall project, a gathering of 200 workers enjoyed a Catfish on Wheels luncheon as appreciation for all their hard work. The goal of pouring out all level 1 slab on carton form and placing the first deck before Thanksgiving was achieved. Austin Commercial along with JV partners served as CM-at-Risk on this world-class, LEED Gold–certified hospital, delivering a modern replacement for the original 1952 facility. The new Parkland campus strategically stacks its clinical blocks to maximize efficiency and patient care across emergency services, diagnostics, surgery, acute care, and women’s and infants’ health.
