𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩: How do you modernize vital infrastructure while preserving nearly 100 years of history? BL Companies helped the Town of Westport, CT do just that with the replacement of the Kings Highway North Bridge over Willow Brook. Our team provided design engineering, inspection, surveying, and utility relocation services, including shifting a major 24” water main onto its own adjacent utility bridge. To preserve the bridge’s historic character, original river stones from the 1930 structure were carefully salvaged and incorporated into the new design – blending modern safety and capacity with timeless aesthetics.
