Bowman has received its sixth consecutive ADA design assignment in the City of Philadelphia and our largest ADA design contract in Pennsylvania to date. This win speaks to the repeatable, partnership-driven culture that defines Bowman’s municipal infrastructure design practice. Under this contract, we’ll be designing curb ramps at 1,200 corners across the city, bringing Bowman’s total scope to more than 3,000 locations and contributing to more than one-third of Philadelphia’s 10,000-ramp goal. The invasive golden mussel is threatening California’s water infrastructure, and our team in Davis is helping the state combat the issue. In partnership with the California Department of Water Resources, Bowman is conducting eradication research using thermal, chemical and UV tolerance experiments; biological monitoring through settlement plates and veliger sampling; and prevention campaigns with watercraft inspections and decontamination procedures. Bowman is also streamlining NPDES permitting and compliance for molluscicide treatments, the first coordinated effort of its kind in California. The Redondo Fishing Pier reconstruction in Des Moines, WA has moved to construction! Our team was onsite during the groundbreaking to celebrate the milestone. Since 2024, Bowman has provided full design and construction management services for the project’s new restroom facility, which is now complete, and will continue in its construction management role as the pier itself takes shape. Our work includes resident engineering, documentation control, inspection and engineer of record services.
