Yesterday, we launched something truly meaningful at Compass One Healthcare… Care Connections — a cross sector passion project born from both Katie Barrentine & my experience through decades of navigating chronic and critical illness, both personally and as caregivers — officially made its debut. It’s incredible to think that less than a year after meeting, Katie and I, supported by an extraordinary circle of colleagues and friends, turned a simple idea about improving health equity and access into a powerful, comprehensive resource for all Compass associates. 🌸 The response from the field was overwhelming. It reaffirmed exactly why this work matters — the advocacy, the resources, the empathy, and the commitment to standing beside associates during some of life’s hardest moments. Katie and I couldn’t be prouder. And this is just the beginning. Care Connections exists to support, educate, and empower associates, caregivers, and managers navigating chronic or critical illness. It is both a resource hub and a community — rooted in compassion, advocacy, connection, and hope. In many ways, Care Connections is our love letter to the people of Compass Healthcare. We see you. We honor you. And we built this for YOU 💖 There’s so much more to come. Stay tuned. Feeling blessed to be part of Compass Group USA, a company that truly prioritizes its people. This past weekend, we held our annual Sales Excellence appreciation event at The Breakers, celebrating the top sales winners. This location holds special significance for me, as it was where my first Sales Excellence event took place in 2011. It was wonderful to connect with colleagues and operating partners who contributed to our success, including Tim Pierce, Bobby Kutteh, Avi Pinto and Mike Villani. We also celebrated the retirement of our esteemed Healthcare leader, Dudley Poppens. Thank you for your years of servant leadership, and enjoy the next chapter! I am especially proud of my teammate Kelly Kuhn for achieving this honor for the 15th time in her 20-year career. Congratulations to my colleague Megan on her first Globe award. Achieving this recognition requires grit—the drive to pursue long-term goals, the tenacity to see things through, and the pride in delivering your best. I am proud to have attended this event for the 14th time in my 16 years at Compass One Healthcare. I take pride in working for a company that is genuinely committed to people, growth, and results. Cindy, our conversations are limited, but powerful in this matter. I couldn't ask for more. A special thanks to Chris Kowalewski for leading a stellar event, and to Kerry, Melissa, and Jenn for taking it to the next level. Until next year. Only a few will hunt.
