At Crum & Forster, we believe that being a good corporate citizen is at the heart of doing good business. In partnership with O'Toole Scrivo, LLC, we've supported communities nationwide through volunteer efforts and donations to food banks. Our final stop in the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Project was at the Houston Food Bank, where employees packed non-perishable items into ready-made meal kit boxes. Our next stop as part of our 5th Annual Thanksgiving project in partnership with O'Toole Scrivo, LLC was at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. This holiday season, in partnership with O'Toole Scrivo, LLC, we've been helping close the meal gap through volunteer efforts and a series of donations to food banks across the country. Most recently, employees visited Forgotten Harvest, located in Oak Park, MI where they rolled up their sleeves to help sort 4,924 pounds of food donated by local grocery stores and large retailers. Forgotten Harvest plays a vital role in the Metro Detroit community by collecting surplus food from hundreds of local sources and distributing it to more than 200 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters across the region. Each year, Forgotten Harvest delivers millions of pounds of nutritious food to families in need making a significant impact in alleviating food insecurity.
