🇨🇦 What an honor to be the keynote speaker at the @Ontario Cyber Crime Conference 2025 in Toronto! So… what did we talk about today? We dug into why cybercrime keeps getting worse year after year — even as organizations spend billions on cybersecurity. Here’s the hard truth I’ve learned after decades in this fight: 💡 Cybercrime isn’t a technology problem. It’s a people problem. I shared what I call The Four Truths of Cybersecurity: 1️⃣ Nobody ever expects to be a victim. 2️⃣ When you are a victim, recovering your money, data, or peace of mind is extremely difficult. 3️⃣ Putting the bad guys in jail is hard — especially when they’re overseas. 4️⃣ But here’s the good news: Most cybercrime victimization could have been prevented if we all had a CyberSecure Mindset.
