From WPEC-TV CBS12 News: #FloridaCoastMedicalCenter performs its first robot assisted knee surgery New advancements in medical technology have arrived at a Treasure Coast hospital. Florida Coast Medical Center performed its first robot-assisted knee surgery today, marking the beginning of a new trend for the region and promising more precise surgical outcomes. “That's one of the things I love about this robot. I'm the surgeon. I still do the great majority of the cases. The care I received was nothing short of spectacular. Upon arrival to the Emergency Room, my admission took place within 5 to 10 minutes. After being observed in the ED, it was determined by the staff and my cardiologist (Dr. Isaac Dor), that I be admitted into the hospital for additional testing and further observation as related to my extremely high blood pressure readings. This facility is brand new as it was recently opened in September of this year (2025) after new construction. This is not a refurbished facility but a brand new hospital with beautiful impatient rooms and the most modern and advanced equipment. I could not have imagined how impressive the facility was going to be until my arrival; meaning, I had not previously heard of this facility prior to my admission and was extremely impressed. Every single provider that examined and took care of me was incredibly compassionate and extremely professional.
