About us

Florida Health Care Plans is more than an insurance company. FHCP is a provider of reliable health insurance plans and integrated health care. Our pioneering model created right here in Central Florida in 1974, offers members a true one-stop shop for high-quality insurance and a caring team of medical professionals—plus prescriptions, labs, urgent care, and more. FHCP is located throughout Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Brevard, and St. Johns counties and we’re dedicated to bettering our community, which is why we offer a range of educational programs designed to promote optimal health and wellness. When you’re considering a health plan, it’s about more than simply having coverage. It’s about having access to the doctors you need and the care you want—all at a price you can afford. It’s about having a community of care that’s close to home. It’s about health and wellness and everything a plan from FHCP can do for you.

  • On Wednesday, Dec. 3, Florida Health Care Plans' Catherine Rosekelly, MPH, and Nakyia Carson had the honor of attending the Volusia YPG Board Mixer. This special event marked the passing of the “torch” as the outgoing board welcomed the incoming members. FHCP is especially proud to share that Catherine was recognized with the “Unsung Hero” superlative for her remarkable contributions while managing the socials committee this past year. Looking ahead, both Catherine and Nakyia will return to the board in 2026—Catherine will oversee Membership, and Nakyia will again serve on the socials committee. Their dedication to fostering connections and supporting youth in Volusia County exemplifies the core values we uphold at FHCP. Join us in congratulating them and continuing to invest in our community’s future!

  • It’s a beloved tradition! For several years, the FHCP Care Center in Titusville has proudly kicked off the Sheriff’s Reverse Christmas Parade. Our Florida Health Care Plans team in Titusville had the joy of partnering with Sheriff Ivey and Police Chief Lau to spread holiday cheer by donating toys to their drive. Together, we’re making a difference and bringing smiles to children this season!
