    I never bought into the whole ‘AI video ads are the future’. I still don't. But statics? Those actually surprised me. One of our customers tried almost all AI UGC tools out there but couldn't find even a single video worth launching "We still need to test cheap and fail fast. Waiting for 7 days for a video and spending $2,000 per test is not an option" But then, they turned to static ads. Which are massively underrated IMO and much much reliable in terms of quality. Have a new angle? Test it with an AI static ad -> see if it works -> then scale it with a real, high production video. 3 months later, 40-50% of the spend comes from static ads. - takes <2hrs to make a batch of 25  - 90% on brand - costs 0.5% of spend (90% lower) - fully automated media buying - 10-15% lower CPA than accnt avg. What started as a "testing mechanism" has now taken over half the account :) Have you found success with AI ads? Curious to hear in the comments.

    Had an interesting conversation with a creative lead at a $10B+ company By now, almost every creative team uses ChatGPT, Claude, etc. for brainstorming new ideas, writing copy, scripts. But this team is a couple of step ahead! They operate in 10+ markets and ran 8k+ ads last year. Now how do you find what works across 130 hours of content? Currently: defined ad nomenclature. Worked well for a while. Until it broke. - Took forever to name all ads - Can only track 3-4 variables - 1 mistake away from a wrong insight They completely flipped this with AI 1. Upload all video ads to Gemini and let AI objectively figure out which labels are most relevant 2. Assign the labels to all ads in a giant pivot table with performance data 3. Figure out which labels lead to highest win rate % and use GPT to find patterns Honestly, it still takes a bit of hard work to get there but much better than manual tracking or having fixed ad names Now they want us to help them automate the same at a 10X speed :) AI ads are cool but if you're not focusing on figuring out what users want, it's not going to work out.
