A little tropical flair landed in Columbus! 🌺✨ Our Interiors team had the opportunity to design a Havana-inspired café booth for Smith System®, a premier provider of K-12 School Furniture, at this year’s EDspaces Conference. From vibrant furniture colors and tropical accents to playful backdrops and string lights, we aimed to create an inviting space that brought warmth and energy to the show floor.  A big thank-you to our partners at Smith System, Ohio Desk, and Milliken Commercial for helping bring this concept to life.  Kati Ewers, Jennifer Snyder, Caroline Moore, and Dawn Gainer represented GPD Group during the first week of November, such a great opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to the future of educational design. 

GPD Group served as the primary bridge designer for the new Ramp C5 (4R), now officially open, providing a smooth two-lane entrance from I-70/71 into downtown Columbus and improving connectivity for the city. The project also features a reconstructed Front Street Bridge with two-way traffic, improved bike and pedestrian paths, and space for greenscape—enhancing safety and accessibility for all. 🌳✨ Playground Reimagined in Beachwood!   The City of Beachwood partnered with GPD Group to transform an aging playground into a vibrant, inclusive space for children of all ages and abilities. From stormwater solutions to thoughtful site design, our team worked hand-in-hand with city staff and community stakeholders to deliver a playground that’s not only fun, but sustainable and welcoming. GPD was proud to attend the Ohio Library Council’s 2025 Convention & Expo, which brought together professionals from across the state to celebrate 130 years of progress and purpose at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland!   Our own Jason Nolde served as a judge and crowned the winner of Battledecks—a fast-paced game where conference-goers crafted pitches using random presentation slides. Hulcy STEAM Middle School and partnerships with the Dallas Education Foundation to support community programs.
