About us
The Hotel Association of North Texas was formally established in 1926. In the beginning, it was originally a 22 hotel membership organization, which over the past 90+ years has expanded to cover a multi-county area, representing hotels of every size and type along with the companies providing services to the industry, bringing them together in one unified voice. The Hotel Association of North Texas (HANTX) protects the interests of the hospitality industry through legislative advocacy, member education and training, networking, community partnerships, and accountability of hotel occupancy taxes throughout our coverage area.

We had a fun and interactive afternoon at HANTX's Women In Hospitality program workshop with Chef Nikky Phinyawatana of Asian Mint. We learned more about her entrepreneurial journey, balancing family and work, and feeding our souls. Our attendees learned more about meditative eating and enjoyed making delicious mocktails and summer rolls. We had a great day at the 3rd Annual Texas Career Day sponsored by Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas! We were able to visit with over 1500 students and teachers from across Dallas County who attended this year's event to share more about the hotel industry and all of the career paths available. We had a wonderful ending to our Summer Social Series of mixers at the Chicken N Pickle in Grand Prairie. What a great venue and a special thank you to Paul Peña and his team for their fabulous hospitality. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy one of these mixers over the summer - these have been a great way to network with industry colleagues, enjoy seeing a variety of venues in our region, and meet new contacts.
