Fun Fact Friday! This is a Perkins 400 series engine, the model is a 402F-05. It is a 2-cylinder engine that has the fuel system upgraded to produce 9.5kW (12.74 HP) vs the stock 8.8kW (11.8 HP). It is a replacement engine for a 2023 Yanmar SV08-1D mini excavator. 

These MTU 20V4000GS gas generators have been delivered near Omaha, NE to provide 7.5 MW of low carbon continuous generation.

Excited to display this 20V4000GS large gas 2.5 MW generator at the MTU Power Generation Symposium in Mankato, MN this week. This unit along with two others will be headed to their new home at the Papillion Creek WRRF cogeneration facility near Omaha, NE next week. More details to come...
