When a mother told Abi Carter that her daughter, who was struggling with thoughts of harming herself, found hope through Abi’s music and IEHP’s mental health resources, it confirmed why this campaign mattered. “Start the Conversation” united IEHP and the 2024 American Idol winner to reach youth with a message of hope and action. 💬❤️ Honored to share that the Meehan Business Advisers x IEHP team took home three PRism awards 🥇🥇🥇 and tied for the “Best in Show,” a distinction which is given to the entry that received the highest score. In this case, an average combined judges’ score of 96 or above.🏅 In addition, the campaign will be entered into the 2026 PRSA Western District's “Best in the West,” an annual competition chosen from "Best in Show" winners at the chapter level. Now in its 61st year, the PRSA-LA PRism Awards is the Los Angeles region’s premier awards program honoring excellence in public relations and communications. This is what true partnership looks like! Last night was an emotional moment, and I'll be carrying it with me for a long time. Our "Start the Conversation" campaign featuring American Idol winner Abi Carter, in partnership with Meehan Business Advisers, took home Best in Show at the PRSA Los Angeles PRism Awards, along with three other category wins. But what hits me most is knowing this message is reaching the people who need it. I led our social media strategy and captured the photography, and every word we shared came from a place I truly believe in. Conversations on mental health save lives. It's especially important for our youth to know that their feelings are valid and help is there. I'm someone who finds it easier to celebrate others than to celebrate myself. But this moment was so special to me...not because of the awards, but because I was part of building something I truly believe in. These conversations are what I proudly live by every day and will always advocate for. They build meaningful connections and are what make us human. Thank you to IEHP, my leaders, and my team for your support and for trusting in me. 💙🥹
