You never know where you’ll run into a BRO (Big Red One) Soldier… Attended Donuts & Defense hosted by the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) at Velocity, a stone’s throw from the Detroit Arsenal… and what a surprise to run into Roger Crombie. We received an update on the multiple iniatives of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation & Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center to provide skilled trades people to Michigan’s labor force along with pitches from several defense & manufacturing companies. I’ll definitely be back for the next event, but if the DoD’s name change holds… they better be serving waffles 🧇!
