Optimum Sports is the in-house sports marketing agency within Omnicom Media Group, with nearly two decades of experience working with some of the biggest brands in sports. By merging the worlds of sports media, sponsorship and creative, we create omnichannel platforms that effectively drive brand and business impact. We take a fully integrated approach to sports marketing by injecting specialists into clients’ traditional media practices, connecting sponsorship to the wider media mix and marketing platform. In recent years, the brand’s presence has evolved further, tapping into moments in culture and driving conversations beyond the live game. That evolution has been shaped in large part by Baldwin Cunningham, Director of Media and Partnerships at State Farm, whose creative vision and forward-thinking approach continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible for a non-endemic brand in sports.     100 days to Milano Cortina 2026! ❄️🇮🇹 We’re officially on the countdown to the Winter Olympic Games – and proud to see our partners Delta Air Lines and Eli Lilly and Company leading the celebration! This morning, Delta sponsored TODAY’s broadcast and transformed Rockefeller Plaza into a winter wonderland, complete with Delta Plaza branding, Team USA hopefuls, and an inspiring interview with Delta Athlete Ambassador & Team USA Figure Skater Amber Glenn.   • A couple weeks ago, OS Chicago had its 4th Annual Golf outing with Overtime! The crew enjoyed a perfect day on the links, complete with team names and themes. The winners, “The Eagle Has Landed”, had a team score of -4 and included Sloane Marwil, the Women’s longest drive champ, Carsten Gallant, the closest to the pin champ, along with Charlie Moss and Gabriella Galassini. We appreciate the partnership with Overtime & continuing this tradition. We can’t wait for year 5.

  • Cameron Boozer (Basketball) and Jane Hedengren (Cross Country and Track & Field) are your 2024-25 Gatorade Best High School Players of the Year! Last Wednesday, Gatorade celebrated another year of their long-standing Player of the Year program on the big stage at the 2025 ESPYs. This memorable moment was able to happen live on the ESPYs stage thanks to the collaboration across Optimum Sports, Gatorade, and ESPN.    During commercial break, all 11 NPOYs were recognized on stage by Gatorade professional athletes Matthew Stafford and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, featuring a custom POY Vignette produced by ESPN CreativeWorks. Matthew Stafford and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone then revealed the Best Male and Best Female Gatorade Player of the Year Award winners live during the show, further amplified across social.   • Headed to Indianapolis for WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) All-Star Weekend? State Farm's presence will be impossible to miss. At WNBA Live, State Farm will have an immersive and memorable activation that includes an interactive shooting challenge and a tunnel walk photo opportunity. There will also be a strong presence in the All-Star Game itself, with $1,900 donated to charity for every assist. And in the streets of Indy, you'll see State Farm pop-ups, branded pedicabs, and portable basketball hoops that give fans the chance to recreate Caitlin Clark's iconic record-breaking shot from her days at Iowa.   • This past weekend at the OT7 Championship, Gatorade and Overtime teamed up to help athletes refuel, recover, and perform at their best. At the Gatorade Fuel Center, athletes had access to a dedicated lounge to relax between games, watch the action, and replenish with Gatorade products. Scientists from the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) were also on-site, equipping players with Gatorade sweat patches to track fluid and sodium loss during gameplay. Using this data, GSSI experts offered personalized hydration insights and product recommendations—empowering athletes with the tools and knowledge to fuel smarter before, during, and after competition. Another example of Gatorade's innovation in action, helping athletes stay at the top of their game. 💧🏈

  • We're proud to stand behind State Farm as they made a splash at the 2025 NBA Draft this week in NYC.   State Farm and the National Basketball Association (NBA) teamed up with Quest To Learn in New York City to unveil a brand-new STEAM Lab and host a basketball clinic with students - including a surprise visit from Jake from State Farm and NBA draftees Tre Johnson and Derik Queen. As the presenting sponsor of the NBA Draft, State Farm showcased their 'Assist' campaign throughout the week. From NBA Cares to fan giveaways, State Farm assisted the community and basketball fans throughout the country. Congratulations to the draftees and to State Farm for making their mark on a major night in the NBA!
