Osborn is proud to work with great teaming partners, like Matthew Joseph Enering at ASD | SKY, who are shaping the communities we live and work in through projects like Bayshore Gardens in Tampa, Florida. ASD | SKY recently received the AIA Tampa Bay Merit Award for Architecture for the project. Osborn Engineering was the MEP Engineer for the shell project and looks forward to exploring new venues and inviting spaces once the interior fit outs are complete.

We are pleased to be on the team working to convert the historic Tomlinson building into a new affordable housing complex comprised of two apartment buildings (the historic building and a new 13-story apartment tower) and supporting parking garage. The project requires the preservation of the 100+ year building in compliance with the City of St. Petersburg historic properties guidelines and is one of many historic buildings surrounding Mirror Lake being retained. Now that the City has approved the land use change from institutional to residential, the team is actively working to bring affordable housing to downtown St. Pete and recently submitted Site Plan documents for the project. Congratulations to Michael Stolarz, PE of our Cape Canaveral office who just completed training under the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) earning his CP2 – Cathodic Protection Technician certification. The certification required a 5-day on-site training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania followed by passing a Practical Exam and Theory Exam. This is a great accomplishment for Mike and expands Osborn's capacity for specialty Restoration projects.

Construction continues on the renovation and expansion of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Osborn Engineering was the Engineer of Record for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Expansion project that included a 50,000 square foot addition will provide space for live events, educational programs and classrooms, and on-site archives.

We are thrilled to celebrate Osborn Engineering’s own Daniella Kosareo, named to Crain’s Cleveland Business “40 under 40” Class of 2025! This prestigious recognition highlights rising stars across a range of industries, and we couldn’t be prouder of Daniella. Thank you, Daniella, for your dedication and impact as an exceptional mechanical engineer and project manager, significantly contributing to Osborn Engineering’s success. Osborn annually supports a team to attend Deltek’s ProjectCon Conference – held this year in Denver, Colorado, to learn about advancements in AI, document automation, and various systems efficiencies to help the team bring back new ideas for our everyday workflows. The team enjoyed a private rodeo at the National Western Conference - which was both exciting and frightening at times!

While most of us only think about landing a pie in our boss's face, the Ohio Valley team turned that playful urge into a holiday fundraiser with spectacular results! In a brilliant display of leadership and good sportsmanship, several of our leaders lined up to take a direct hit, creating an unforgettable and hilarious moment for the team. The messy fun culminated in a fantastic $1,400 donation for our annual Toys For Tots collection. Thank you to every member who contributed! Your commitment to collaboration and the joy of giving truly embodies the spirit of the season. Participants included Kurt Lohrmann, Tobias Dunbar, AJ Gillum, Jason Lang, and Mark Miller, PE, CEM.

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of the LAK-084-30.86 bridge replacement project! Osborn served as the Engineer of Record for this important infrastructure improvement in Madison Township, Ohio. Last week, Elliott Burdwood, PE from our Pittsburgh office represented Osborn at NAIOP Pittsburgh 25th Annual Night at the Fights event, held at the historic Omni William Penn Hotel.
