“Growing up in poverty, I never believed that a financially successful and comfortable life was possible for me. Over the last 8 months, Panda has helped me begin to believe in myself and that with hard work and dedication, I am able to achieve my biggest dreams.” Hi, I’m Rachel Davis from Portland, OR. I’m a proud graduate of Clackamas Community College and Multnomah University, but before joining Panda Express in August 2024, I was facing housing and financial instability. During that time, I worked for a food delivery service and frequently picked up orders from Panda Express. I always noticed their in-store ads promoting job openings and growth opportunities. That’s what inspired me to apply. Shortly after being hired as a Counter Help, my husband and I were able to move from unstable housing into a much nicer apartment. Within just a few months, I was promoted from Counter Help to Shift Lead and then to Assistant Manager. Today, I proudly serve Gresham, OR.
