Illicit trade is a growing threat to Americans’ security and prosperity, fueling a $2.2 trillion global criminal enterprise that spans counterfeiting, organized retail theft, human trafficking, and other illegal activity. This week, more than 75 leaders from government, law enforcement, and the private sector gathered in Washington, D.C., for the third annual United to Safeguard America from Illegal Trade (USA-IT) National Summit. Those assembled called on Congress to strengthen collaboration between government and industry to combat illicit trade. Drawing on insights from the Department of Homeland Security’s National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center, the coalition underscored that no single agency or company can meet this challenge alone. Progress depends on shared intelligence, cross-sector cooperation, and a unified commitment to dismantling criminal networks. Philip Morris International U.S., which founded the USA-IT coalition in 2021, is grateful to be working alongside our partners every day to safeguard Americans from illicit trade. #InvestedInAmerica #IllicitTrade

In Colorado, service and sacrifice run deep—as does community. At the COLORADO FREEDOM MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, fallen service members are remembered by name. And through organizations such as Hire Heroes USA, Soldiers' Angels, and SAME Café Denver, veterans and their families receive job support, essential aid, and a community that refuses to let them stand alone. To those who served, and to those who serve them, thank you. Philip Morris International U.S. is invested in community and grateful to the givers making an impact every day. #ThanksForGiving #PMIUS #Colorado #Veterans #CommunitySupport #PurposeInAction #Gratitude365

At Philip Morris International U.S., our commitment to those who serve is tangible. In partnership with Veterans Community Project and Lady Veterans Connect, we help to provide housing and transitional living support to veterans in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. With Wounded Warrior Project, K9s For Warriors, and Florida’s Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, we support veterans living with service-related injuries. Across the country, we provide aid to military families in cooperation with American Gold Star Mothers and via our long-standing relationship with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, an organization working to ensure veterans, service members, and their families have what they need to thrive after service—from mental health and housing support to employment opportunities, caregiving resources, and community connection. We’re honored to work with these organizations to serve individuals who have sacrificed so much, and we aim to back our gratitude with meaningful action—every day of the year. When disaster strikes, communities don’t recover because of one person or one agency. They recover because of partnerships, preparation, and the people who step up when everything else is falling apart. In California, the Los Angeles Emergency Preparedness Foundation brings together public, private, and nonprofit partners to strengthen resilience before disaster hits and to restore stability afterward. The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country provides urgent support when a natural disaster occurs, ensuring families have what they need to recover. And the Team Kentucky Storm Relief Fund offers direct support to residents impacted by severe storms and flooding, helping cover immediate needs such as rebuilding and temporary housing. Fires, floods, and hurricanes may break roads, homes, and plans, but they don’t have the power to break a community when people come together to help others stand back up. This Cyber Monday, thank you to all those organizations and individuals who help communities find their way forward. Philip Morris International U.S. is invested in community and grateful to the givers making an impact every day. #ThanksForGiving #PMIUS #DisasterRelief #CommunityResilience #PurposeInAction #Gratitude365

In North Carolina, generosity looks like a hot meal, a safe place to sleep, or the delivery of critical supplies to someone who served this country. Philip Morris International U.S. is proud to support the organizations that make that kind of care possible every single day. In Wilson, Hope Station and the Community Soup Kitchen provide meals, emergency assistance, and shelter to neighbors facing hunger and homelessness. Habitat for Humanity helps families attain strength and stability through affordable housing. And in Fayetteville, Off-Road Outreach delivers mobile support to veterans facing homelessness—bringing hygiene supplies, meals, and compassion directly to those who served. These organizations remind us that community isn’t just a place—it’s people showing up for one another. To the staff, the volunteers, and the PMI U.S. employees who give their time across North Carolina: Thank you for giving. PMI U.S. is invested in community and grateful to the givers making an impact every day. #ThanksForGiving #PMIUS #NorthCarolina #CommunityImpact #Veterans #Housing #FoodSecurity #PurposeInAction #Gratitude365

Art and cultural experiences do more than entertain us—they connect us by turning expression into emotion, creating cross-cultural understanding, and offering strangers a shared encounter. Philip Morris International U.S. partners with organizations that keep creativity, culture, and storytelling alive in communities across the country. Virginia’s RIFF Arts Institute gives artists space to create and share stories that move us. The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum preserves history—honoring the struggle and resilience of Mississippians while inspiring dialogue, empathy, and reconciliation. And in the nation’s capital, The White House Historical Association preserves and shares history through conservation and public engagement. This giving season, we’re grateful for those who foster creativity and preserve culture. PMI U.S. is invested in community and grateful to the givers making an impact every day. #ThanksForGiving #PMIUS #ArtsAndCulture #Community #PurposeInAction #Gratitude365

Joy isn’t a luxury—it can be a lifeline. And across the country, remarkable organizations are ensuring it reaches people who need it most. In Kentucky, Petals for Patients began with a single act of kindness. During a hospital stay, a man named Bobby received a small bouquet that made a big impact, and now, through this Owensboro Health initiative, fresh flowers are delivered to patients and community members who could use a moment of light. In Florida, K9s For Warriors pairs highly trained service dogs with veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, or military sexual trauma. These dogs don’t just offer comfort; they restore purpose and healing on both ends of the leash. And in Illinois, Unique Sweets, Inc. creates community for people with autism—teaching life skills through cooking, game nights, and holiday gatherings—proving that friendship and inclusion can be just as nourishing as food. Joy can’t be measured—but it can be felt, shared, and passed on. Philip Morris International U.S. is invested in community and grateful to the givers making an impact every day. #ThanksForGiving #PurposeInAction #CommunityCare #Gratitude365 #PMIUS

For more than 100 years, Boulware Mission has opened its doors to Kentuckians in crisis—offering not just shelter, but a chance to start again. Based in Owensboro, Boulware provides counseling, job training, and life skills to help men facing homelessness transition to independent, stable living. This year, one of our employees strengthened this mission by bringing together 79 of his colleagues to direct their annual $2,500 company-sponsored donation to this vital organization. In all, over $200,000 in PMI U.S. funding was contributed to the cause. Boulware Mission Executive Director David Gaynor spoke to the donation’s impact, “PMI U.S.’s gift will change lives. We can provide more treatment, more shelter, and more opportunities for men to rebuild their futures. They’ve brought hope to our entire community.” To everyone at Boulware Mission—thank you for proving that second chances can transform lives for the better. And to our PMI U.S. employees who supported this cause, thanks for giving.
