And just like that, we're back at World 50. This time Katie Templin and Kate Dalbey led the conversation, diving into how organizations can build experiences that feel clearer and more connected for the people who use them. We are always grateful for the chance to be part of conversations that shape where the work is headed. #World50 #ExperienceDesign #DigitalStrategy #CustomerExperience #Leadership

Kevin Burns nails it here. Migrations are messy and complicated, which is exactly why teams need the right strategy and guidance. This is a clear look at how to approach the work with more clarity and less chaos.
Enterprise CMS migrations are never just “lift and shifts.” They’re moments of modernization, alignment, and (if done right) acceleration. Across industries, I’m seeing the same pattern: organizations are ready to move off aging, legacy platforms and onto something more scalable like AEM as a Cloud Service, Sitecore XM/XP (Cloud), headless architectures, composable architecture, or cloud-native stacks. But the path from here to there is rarely straightforward. There can be legacy structures, hundreds of thousands to millions of pages, content blocks, and assets, incomplete and inconsistent taxonomies, tangled authoring models, technical debt, stakeholders who speak very different languages, and fear of planning for and managing the complexity of the migration across coordinated teams and work streams. And that’s where migrations can go sideways. 🥴 At Qualified Digital, our teams think about CMS migrations as strategic transformations, not technical chores. It requires orchestration across IT and marketing, clarity around what’s being modernized (and why), and a content strategy powerful enough to prevent months of manual re-authoring later. While the details of every migration are unique, our multi-layered approach focuses on transforming consistent, high-leverage elements to ensure a successful outcome. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be diving deeper into each of these key pillars of a truly transformative CMS migration: - Content Optimization and Scope - Experience Optimization and Scope - Content Transformation and Execution - Experience and Capability Migration - Content and Experience Validation I’m looking forward to sharing our insights and best practices in each of these areas. In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing our approach to the first pillar - Content Optimization and Scope - and how it’s an opportunity to reduce migration costs by addressing inefficient content as well as content debt. If you’re considering a migration in 2026, or staring down one already in motion, now’s the time to make sure you have a strategy that actually modernizes your technology stack to enable and optimize your experience management processes. Join us in congratulating Benjamin Kunkel on his 4-year QDversary! 🎉 That's four years of driving measurable outcomes through CRO programs and scalable web analytics implementations. What makes Ben stand out is his laser focus on business outcomes, even if that sometimes means manually stitching together data in spreadsheets. Ben's thoughtful and collaborative spirit makes our team and QD a better place every day. Thank you for four years of driving impact and incremental change with high confidence intervals (CRO joke). We're lucky to have you, Ben!!! 🎉✨

Really enjoyed this take from Katie Templin & Mayowa I. a space overflowing with AI chatter, they cut through the noise and bring the focus back to people and the experiences that actually matter. Such a good read.
Did you see that MIT article about how 95% of Gen AI pilots fail? So did we. Our take away? Don't get caught up in the AI Hype. AI is not the strategy. It's a tool. Check out our piece "Beyond the AI Hype: Using Experience Strategy to Turn Automation Into Authentic Connection" to hear how Qualified Digital is thinking about AI and how to integrate it successfully.

We love this deep dive from Kevin Haag. He breaks down why modernizing your web data foundation, starting with Adobe's Web SDK as the key to unlocking real-time data, identity resolution, and the downstream value of Adobe Experience Platform. It's a must-read for anyone planning a 2026 stack transformation.
During this very busy year-end rally, I had the privilege of talking to several of our Healthcare, Lifes Sciences and B2B High-Tech customers about the necessity of modernizing their web data foundation to unlock the full potential of their investment in the Adobe Experience Platform. A common thread was the lack of clarity around the necessity and timing for migrating to the Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK. I am aware, talking about SDKs may not sound like the most exciting topic at first, but its impact on critical (future) business capabilities in and around the Adobe ecosystem are significant. The Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK is the technical prerequisite that drives - Real-time data collection (e.g. for Customer Journey Analytics) - Privacy and consent integrations with Consent Management Platforms (e.g. OneTrust) - Anonymous-to-known identity resolution and audience evaluation in Real-Time CDP - Offer-decisioning & personalization in Journey Optimizer - Content and conversion insights in Adobe Content Analytics Additional benefits include the consolidation of legacy libraries, lower end-to-end data latency, enhanced debugging and observability features, as well as speed improvements. When investing in advanced Adobe solutions such as Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics and Journey Optimizer, involve your implementation team early to modernize the foundational “plumbing”. This ensures you can successfully deliver and measure the high-impact journeys that justified your investment in the new stack in the first place. At Qualified Digital, we’ve built a proven, phased approach that helps large organizations modernize their data collection layer without breaking what’s already working in Adobe Analytics. Our goal is simple: accelerate your time-to-value with Adobe Experience Platform while protecting your existing reporting and ensuring a smooth path into Customer Journey Analytics and the other Adobe Experience Platform solutions when you’re ready. Our methodology is focused on - Standing up a modern tracking foundation without disrupting your existing reporting ecosystem - Strengthening identity and privacy controls through deeper integrations with your consent management platform - Establishing the groundwork needed to unlock downstream value across Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics." The Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK marks the beginning of the bottom-up transformation. And getting it right unlocks everything downstream. If a modernization or major stack transformation is on your agenda for 2026, let’s talk! #adobe #aep #rtcdp #ajo #cja #martech Adobe Adobe Partners

We can't believe it's been one year already since Derek Selby joined us as Lead AEP Data Architect. The story of how he joined could have been a movie trailer: Derek had just started at another company when we began the conversation, and we are so happy we were able to persuade him to make the leap. It’s a decision we are grateful for every single day. Since he joined, Derek has led multiple Customer Data Platform projects, and our clients can't get enough of him. Derek, your impact has been tremendous. Thank you for your leadership, your commitment to the craft, and for all the thoughtful dad wisdom along the way. We are fortunate to have you here at QD! To many more years. 🎉⭐️
