This fall, the REI Cooperative Action Fund awarded more than $4.7M in grants to 293 nonprofits! These organizations are united by their efforts to connect everyone to the health and well-being benefits of time outside. The vast majority of this fall’s grantees stem from our Local Grant Program, in which REI local teams, such as stores and distribution centers from across the country, recommend nonprofits from their own communities that align with the REI Fund’s mission. The Local Grant Program is supported in part by Capital One, which this year made a $2 million donation.
