What an incredible Giving Tuesday! 💙✨ We’ve been fortunate to be able to create some pretty unique, touching, and inspirational Giving Tuesdays. This year was a perfect example of just that. RiseWell teamed up with our friends at Baltic Street Wellness Solutions to support the extraordinary work of the Brooklyn Kindergarten Society(BKS) — a nonprofit that has been delivering high-quality early childhood education in NYC for more than 130 years. Giving Tuesday is always a special moment for our teams. For RiseWell and Baltic Street, it’s a day that represents purpose, collaboration, and community in action. It’s our chance to amplify impact by standing alongside partners who are expanding opportunity and shaping brighter futures for children, individuals, and families. This year, our joint efforts supported BKS’s exciting next chapter: the launch of their Mobile Sensory Gym in January 2026, an initiative designed to bring therapeutic sensory play to all of their students across every BKS site. As part of this Giving Tuesday initiative, we delivered brand-new portable sensory equipment to their Central Brooklyn location—tools that will help students strengthen emotional regulation, improve focus, and thrive in their learning environments. Throughout the week, our teams will also continue providing additional items from BKS’s wishlist to further support this important program. By working together, we helped move the Sensory Gym from vision to reality—and ensured that more children will have access to the sensory resources they need to learn, grow, and feel supported. Thank you to BKS leadership, our teams, and every partner who made this Giving Tuesday so successful. The Foster Grandparent Program team gathered together recently to kick off their year and once again, begin to make a difference in the lives of children and the communities we serve! Our teams collaborate with partnered schools to provide meaningful connections, support, and encouragement in the classroom to help build a child’s personal and academic success from the start. “Our dedicated Foster Grandparents offer the support, mentorship, and love that make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need it most. We are honored to do this vital work with purpose and commitment,” says Program Manager Jessica A. “The Foster Grandparent Program has created a sense of belonging for me. ✨ Herkimer Gardens was buzzing with positive, healthy energy during our recent Health Fair! Residents and community members came together to learn, connect, and prioritize their well-being. 💚 The event featured interactive health screenings, nutrition tips, wellness resources, and information on local services that promote healthy living. Attendees also enjoyed giveaways, educational materials, and the chance to speak one-on-one with healthcare professionals. A massive thank-you to Alicia W and her incredible team for organizing this fantastic event! Special thanks as well to Divinah “Dee” Bailey, COO of the African American Clergy and Elected Officials, for taking time out of her day to stop in as well and engage with our cendors, staff, and residents. Thank you Council Member Linda Lee (23rd Council District) for meeting with RiseWell and taking a tour of our Frank Padavan 6th Street Residence in Queens Village. The Frank Padavan 6th Street Residence offers 24-hour on-site support staff and services including medication monitoring, symptom management, socialization, transportation training, connections to psychiatric and medical services, and more. These residences are designed to be transitional, preparing residents to integrate back into the community. Council Member Linda Lee and her team have been a wonderful support for this impactful program. As the first Korean-American ever elected to City Council, and the first woman to hold the seat, the Council Member is a force in the community and works diligently to help individuals overcome economic, health, and social barriers so they have the tools to thrive. They say ‘it takes a village’ and we’re very grateful to be part of such an incredible and powerful one. Thank you again, Council Member Linda Lee!

Hey! We know that RV! Did you catch RiseWell’s Mobile Opioid Support Team RV on News12? Thank you, News12, for shining a light on our impactful mobile program. The window for providing opioid support treatment can be incredibly small, and our diligent team meets individuals where they are in the community to provide FREE services. Our services are safe, confidential, and offer access for integrated care, including overdose prevention, medication-assisted treatment, individual counseling, case management, and more. Suffolk County continues to face one of the highest opioid overdose rates in New York State, and many residents remain underserved due to transportation barriers, lack of insurance, or fear of judgment. MOST breaks through these obstacles with anonymous, judgment-free care offered by a highly trained team of behavioral health professionals, on-site nurses, and peer advocates.
