That's why we're going beyond our walls to find gaps in care and address health disparities. Using community-level data and our new Health Impact Dashboard, we can spot where screenings, blood pressure checks, and well-child visits are falling short and understand how social factors are impacting health. Then we work to bring solutions directly to the communities that need them most. High quality care starts with high quality training. Our new Simulation Skills Training Day is raising the bar for Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) onboarding. Through a partnership with the Eastern Virginia Medical School Sentara Center for Healthcare Simulation and Immersive Learning, APPs get hands-on experience with essential procedures — including intubation, central line placement, chest tubes, and Swan-Ganz monitoring — all in a safe, supportive space designed for learning. 💡🩺 This training builds confidence, sharpens technical skills, and reinforces team-based excellence from the very start. Being part of events like the J&A Racing Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Mile is about more than race day support. Reunited and it feels so good! 🧡 Our biannual NICU reunion at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital brought 448 families together to celebrate babies who spent 7+ days in the NICU and are now thriving. One story that stole the show? One of our NICU graduates, now 32 years old, is starting a pharmacy rotation right here at the same hospital!
