Two days at the TLTF Summit in Austin reminded me how quickly this industry is evolving. Legal tech is no longer a niche idea. It is an ecosystem that is starting to hit its stride. A few years ago the space still felt early. Now it is full of builders who understand how legal work and technology can finally move in sync. Thank you to The LegalTech Fund (Zach, Rebecca, Casey, Gordon and many others) for bringing this community together and creating a space where operators, legal professionals, and founders can share what is actually working. It is exciting to think about "where this industry will be fifteen years from now". I was grateful for the chance to speak on the Scale stage and share the work we are doing at SimpleClosure to support founders through the hardest chapter of building: winding down. A shutdown is not a doom story or a mark of failure. It is a moment where founders deserve clarity, dignity, and a path back to building again.
