We're backing the next generation of Veteran-led innovation. Three exceptional Veterans are joining the Skydio community through our 2025 Veterans Vehicle Scholarship. Each brings a mission that matters - from emergency response to regenerative agriculture to creating pathways for women Veterans. Meet this year's recipients: 🔴 Christopher Krull is building a service-disabled veteran-owned UAS business focused on emergency response and infrastructure inspections - while creating jobs for fellow Veterans through VR&E. ⚪ 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘇 is using drone technology to open doors for women Veterans, creating community-based training programs and entrepreneurial opportunities where they're needed most. 🔵 Andrew Tuttle is integrating autonomous flight into regenerative agriculture education - training the next generation of farmers on climate-resilient practices with hands-on technology. To everyone who applied: the decision wasn't easy. The caliber of applications reinforced what we already knew - Veterans are driving some of the most impactful UAS work happening today. Applications reopen May 2026. Chris, Andrea, Andrew - we can't wait to see the work you do. 🇺🇸 🦾

Long form conversations FTW. Beyond the great podcast, it was super impressive seeing the whole operation Shawn Ryan has built up, and I’m proud to leave behind a bit of shared Join OKCPD/Skydio history for the SRS museum. Jason Bussert Dax Laporte Huge shout out to Matthew Rampado, Colin Romberger, Micah E., Roy Vorster, and Jeff Chang for getting our entire family of flying robots out to the studio.

Unreal outcomes like this one are just another day at the RTIC for the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD). For the past 14 months, Skydio has supported SFPD's Drone as First Responder program – with the X10 flying approximately 95% of missions. These autonomous systems provide critical situational awareness when and where it's needed most, helping to protect both first responders and the communities they serve. Auto thefts, retail thefts, drug dealing, and more - Dock-based X10s have helped SF’s finest bring all types of crime down by ensuring the bad guys get caught. Now, we’re supporting the expansion of the DFR program with more Dock locations throughout the city. Grateful to continue supporting the officers who show up for San Franciscians every day.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: 𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟑 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐆𝐈 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 — focused on enhanced sensing, lethality, and survivability for formations conducting disaggregated targeting operations. 🇺🇸 Building on field feedback from operational units, we’ll continue advancing the X10D’s targeting capabilities in degraded, denied, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) environments. This includes deeper integration with existing Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) networks to ensure warfighters have the autonomous systems they need when GPS and communications are contested.
