More leadership change. More uncertainty. The need for strong, connected planning has never been greater. And when transitions happen fast, it’s easy to lose what matters most: ✅ institutional knowledge ✅ trust and rapport ✅ momentum from existing planning work But leadership change doesn’t have to be a setback. With the right approach, a new dean, president, provost, or board can become a real opportunity—fresh perspective, renewed energy, and a chance to build on what’s already been done. That’s the focus of Managing Leadership Change, a 3-part working group facilitated by Elliot Felix. It’s a practical, peer-learning space where participants share what’s working (and what isn’t) and leave with strategies they can use immediately. We’ll cover three core themes: 🔹 Orienting + onboarding new leaders 🔹 Balancing continuity and change 🔹 Communicating in ways that build trust 📅 Feb 3, Feb 17, & March 3 | Online | 1:00–2:00 PM ET 🗓 Registration closes Jan 30 If leadership transitions are on your horizon (or already underway), this is a smart moment to prepare. #HigherEdLeadership #ChangeManagement #StrategicPlanning #CampusLeadership #InstitutionalEffectiveness

Jump into 2026 with a SCUP working group! Even if you can only join a few sessions, you’ll still gain connection, perspective, and peer-driven problem-solving that strengthens your planning practice. These aren’t webinars. They’re a series of small, facilitated 1-hour Zoom meetings where members learn from each other through conversation, examples, and shared experience. Here’s what’s coming: Space Management & Planning Commons January 14 – February 25 Explore real-world space challenges and collaborate on practical solutions in a supportive cohort.
