About us
The inspiration for creating the perfect crisp emerged in 2015 when our founder, Matt, was following a strict gluten free diet. He found that although the diet was treating him well, he was really missing his favorite snacks. The diet inspired him to recreate the classic canister chip, making it something he could eat without guilt. Making healthy crisps with better ingredients was a challenge. But Matt also wanted his daughters to eat them as well. They couldn’t just be natural. They had to be exceptionally tasty as well. And so it began— one man’s journey to develop a clean-label, gluten free canister chip that his whole family (and yours!) could enjoy.

Well-deserved award for our founder!
I’m honored to have been recognized as the winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Mountain West region. I really appreciate the recognition and the incredible team effort it has taken to build The Good Crisp Company. When I first moved to the US, we were doing less than $4m pa. It was a massive roll of the dice to disrupt everything and move my whole family to the other side of the world. But I knew we had something special, The Good Crisp Company was meeting a real need for our customers. Now, six years later, we’re 20x bigger, we have the best team of 30 people, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re building. The last few years have been some of the toughest in business (and it doesn’t look like it’s easing up anytime soon), but our team has not just risen through the challenges, we’ve thrived! and we’ll continue building this amazing snack brand.
