Tola team joins Square: What's next for our customers After three years building software and financial products to help businesses across the US manage their cash flow with more confidence, control, and better insights, we’re excited to announce that the Tola team will be joining Square. As part of this transition, the standalone Tola platform will wind down on August 29, 2025. This will be the last day customers can initiate payments through our platform. We’ve always strived for building the best products and putting our customers first and we will continue to do so throughout this process. As many customers rely on Tola day-to-day to conduct financial operations, we’re providing this time and opportunity to help you transition off our platform with as little disruption as possible. We had a blast celebrating a huge milestone at Tola today: our first $1 million financing customer! A huge thank you to Chris Tan and the team at Naia 🍨 For over 2 years, we’ve had the pleasure to forge an outstanding partnership with this incredible company. In many ways, they are the epitome of #entrepreneurship, evolving with market tastes and trends over the past two decades from a series of storefronts to a vertically integrated manufacturer. Today they work with some of the biggest retailers and brands in food! They’ve been a dream customer as we’ve scaled Tola: a time tested first class operation eager to unlock efficiency in their #payments workflows, and frustrated by the convoluted #capital markets for SMBs. Their perfect track record on our platform speaks volumes to their excellence in operating, as well as the reality that there are SMBs with creditworthiness that rival AAA companies. With independent operations - its always the little things, the extreme attention to detail. Martin Landeros and I saw a great example today in touring the facility. At Naia, they tilt the vats as you can see in one of the pictures. Why? Because every drop counts 💧 When you’re dealing with a company full of expert taste testers, you have to show up right - so we brought the best sandwiches in the Bay Area - Lucia’s in Crockett! 🥪 If you’re at a Whole Foods Market in Northern California, give Naia a try - especially the gelato bars. They have proprietary ice cream technology (yes its a thing) that allows them to super freeze this format. Highly recommend Blood Orange and Pistachio. Honored to work with so many outstanding companies at Tola 🙏

New feature at Tola: AI Automated Receivables ✨ We have been tinkering about how to use AI in the context of AP, AR and cash flow to deliver value and save customers time for quite some time. We started experimenting with the conversational interface for product actions and cash flow insights, but adding a pre-AR workflow before invoices are created, contract ingestion is natural extension to our full stack AR tool. Customers can just upload a contract or a sales agreement and Tola will automatically handle complex elements including net terms and billing details to do the manual invoicing work for you. From there, customers can send invoices, automate reminders, collect the payments and automatically reconcile it, all within Tola. There are a lot of interesting avenues, particularly within the pre- and post- AR workflow, where we see AI as a great solution to build features to bring a lot of value, so watch this space. 👀 Link and more details in the comments. 👇
