TCFS Executive Director, Laura Poss, was honored to attend the 2025 West Suburban Philanthropic Network Philanthropy Awards last week to congratulate Sarah Houberg from the Gerald A. & Karen A. Kolschowsky Foundation who was awarded Grantmaker of the Year. The care provided at TriCity Family Services is made possible in part through the support of the foundation and Sarah's work.

“It was an intervention that changed the trajectory of my life. It felt like coming home to myself. TriCity Family Services gave me help and hope.” As a teenager, author and speaker Marianne Renner turned to TriCity Family Services. That decision set her on a path of healing, self-discovery, and resilience—ultimately shaping the leader and storyteller she is today. The triumphant return of TCFS Trivia Night was a success! Our supporters filled Rock 'N Ravioli at the Arcada Theatre and showed off their smarts--all in the name of raising money for mental health access in our community. Congratulations to our newest Trivia Night Champions, "Lucky no7" who topped the charts with a total of 69 points! "You Got Questions, We Got Answers" came in a close second at 66 points. And the lovely ladies of "OAD" graciously accepted their 11th place title with 28.75 points. The first Tuesday of every month, Town House Books and Cafe in St. Charles donates a portion of their bookstore and restaurant proceeds to a local non-profit. TriCity Family Services has been the August Giving Tuesday recipient for the last few years and we're so appreciative. You don't need to show or say anything for the funds to come back to us, simply shop, dine in, or order pick-up on Tuesday, August 5th and TCFS will get a donation!
