🏃♀️From the Office to the Trail – Putting My Fitness to the Test Working in corporate fitness at HealthFitness , I spend a lot of time helping others move better, feel stronger, and stay consistent. But this weekend, I got the chance to practice what I preach—outside the gym and beyond my comfort zone. I took on a 12-hour ultramarathon and covered 50 miles, earning 3rd place overall. Yes, it was exhausting. Yes, it hurt. But it was also an incredible reminder of what the human body (and mind) can do with the right training, support, and mindset. The same principles I encourage in the workplace—discipline, resilience, pacing, and recovery—are the ones that got me through every mile. This race wasn’t just about distance. It was about showing up, staying consistent, and testing the limits of endurance—both physical and mental. Grateful for the challenge and Even more grateful for the opportunity to keep growing, both as a Personal Trainer and as an athlete.

Each week in the summer, Trustmark raffles off Ravinia Festival tickets to its associates. When Bill Rasmussen was selected, he invited his adult niece and two granddaughters for an orchestra concert.
