It’s Giving Tuesday! Vista Health System is Going Beyond Care Today kicks off our Holiday Food Drive, now through December 16th, and we invite our community to join us in supporting families who need extra help this season. Winter break can leave many children without consistent meals, and together, we can make a real difference. Last month, thanks to your generosity, we donated 533 pounds of food to local families. Let’s see if we can top that! 💙 We are collecting: - Canned soups, vegetables, fruits, beans - Boxed items like pasta, rice, cereal, mac & cheese - Snacks such as granola bars, crackers, and fruit cups - Baby essentials: formula, baby food, diapers, wipes - Toiletries & hygiene products - Cultural foods that reflect the diverse traditions and dietary preferences of our community, including items that families commonly use in their everyday meals 🎄 Our Giving Tree is also ready! We’re collecting scarves, mittens, gloves, winter hats, and boots for patients and families who need warmth this winter. Vista Health System Health System was honored to take part in the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science College of Pharmacy Career Fair, where members of our pharmacy team connected with students and shared the important role pharmacy plays in patient care. Vista Health System in the Community 💙 This afternoon, our care team visited Lilac Ledge Senior Living, providing BP checks, temperature checks, O₂ screenings, and one-on-one health conversations. We also shared tips on staying healthy, understanding risk factors, and how Vista Health System can support seniors with preventive care, outpatient services, and hospital-based care when needed.
