Combining our passions of giving back to our community and supporting local educational endeavors, VoltAir is proud to regularly support Hillsborough Community College by participating in events hosted by the Hillsborough Community College Foundation. This was displayed as VoltAir team members, including our President & CEO, Julius D. Davis, participated in the 21st Annual HCC Golf Classic. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded community leaders. Proceeds from this event benefit HCC’s student-athletes and ensures they have the resources, equipment, and opportunities they need to excel on the field, in the classroom, and throughout their academic journey. For the second year in a row, VoltAir worked on a project that won AIA Tampa Bay’s People’s Choice Award. This reflects the hard work of our team members and client partners who share a collaborative passion to complete projects with a lasting impact in our communities. This year’s winning project was awarded to Tampa International Airport (TPA)’s Main Terminal Curbside Expansion. VoltAir engineers provided electrical engineering design as a subconsultant to HNTB. This project was also awarded by the Florida Department of Transportation’s 2022 Commercial Service Airport Project of the Year. As several VoltAir team members are USF alumni, it’s always a delight when we can provide service to our community while supporting the University. Several team members participated in the recent BullsBlast 2025 event, which raised over $100,000 in scholarships benefitting student athletes. VoltAir is also supporting USF Athletics by providing electrical engineering design services for the future on-campus stadium which will support multiple sports teams. Service to our community is one of VoltAir’s core values. As the Captain’s Party sponsor at the Inshore Insanity Fishing Tournament that benefitted the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA. Our team members had a great time connecting with network partners and we are grateful to the event organizers. The beautiful Florida weather made it perfect to soak up the sun and enjoy a day on the water. Best of all, the event raised $115,000 to enhance YMCA programs across the Tampa region.
