  • 🚗 ⚡ Insights from the PLMA EV Symposium ⚡ 🚗 Last week, our team had the privilege of joining leading utilities, OEMs, and innovators at the PLMA (@PLMAflm) EV Symposium. The conversations reinforced something we at WeaveGrid care deeply about: accelerating EV adoption while ensuring that charging is simple, reliable, and valuable for both customers and the grid. Here are a few takeaways we’re bringing home:  🔷 Customer trust is everything. Drivers often trust their OEMs most, but collaboration between automakers and utilities is essential to deliver seamless managed charging experiences.  🔷 Enrollment must be simple. “Set it and forget it” is key. In-app integration, clear communication, and reduced friction points (like unnecessary account requirements) significantly improve participation.  🔷 Scaling requires partnership. To meet climate and electrification goals, utilities, OEMs, and technology providers must work together, from creative program design to unlocking new customer segments like multifamily housing. 🔷 Policy and funding matter. Distribution system buy-in and supportive regulatory frameworks are critical to scaling managed charging and demonstrating the value EVs bring as flexible grid resources. At WeaveGrid, we’re excited to keep working with our utility and OEM partners to make EV adoption easier, more affordable, and better integrated with the clean energy future. A big thank you to the event organizers and all the participants for driving this important dialogue forward. #EVs #CleanEnergy #Utilities #GridFlexibility #Partnership
