This Veterans Day, we proudly recognize the service and sacrifice of the veterans within our community, including the more than nine percent of our workforce who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.   Military service has been part of our company’s DNA since the beginning. Our first-generation leader, Leslie Marshall Weisiger, completed his military training and received a commission as a second lieutenant in the field artillery reserve corps in 1918. His son, Ed Weisiger Sr., continued that legacy. After studying at Fishburne Military School and participating in Army ROTC, he served in Germany from 1954–1956 as a heavy equipment maintenance officer.   Their commitment to duty, discipline, and service helped shape the culture that still guides us today. As a dedicated and trusted partner in our customers’ success, we honor that legacy by prioritizing supportive relationships and taking pride in serving our customers, communities, and employees with unwavering commitment.   To all veterans across our company and beyond: thank you for your service. Last week we celebrated a major milestone in Gastonia, NC: the topping out of our new Carolina Cat facility. The team signed the final beam and celebrated the teamwork, partnerships, and community spirit that make growth like this possible. Opening in 2026, during Weisiger Group’s 100th anniversary year, this new location will expand our ability to serve customers across western North Carolina and strengthen our connection to the Gastonia community. What a summer! We’re incredibly proud of the eight talented interns who joined Weisiger Group, Carolina Cat, LiftOne, and BlueSkye Automation this summer and wrapped up their experience with impressive capstone presentations to their managers and leadership team. Their projects tackled everything from automation and sales analytics to brand strategy, financial modeling, and customer experience, each one delivering insights and real value to our business.
