    Cold emails SUCK. So, we sent hundreds of custom trading cards to the top creator agencies instead. The result? Wildly happy customers + demos booked from people who have been ignoring me for years 😉 — Here's how we did it. It's called Roster Royale. We turned the world's top creator agencies into collectible trading cards. Everyone got their own individual booster pack — think Pokémon cards — featuring their OWN creators AND team members. Each card has unique stats, rarity tiers, and custom attacks tailored to them. Instead of a heinous “Hey {first_name}! Hope you’re doing well! Wanted to reach out to see if you’d be open to a quick…”, we gave them something they wanted to open, share, and brag about to their friends. Cold emails get ignored. Trading cards get framed. — This is one of the many growth hacks we’ve done over the years, but easily the most fun. We've given away two dollar bills, built trophies out of concrete/glass (in my nyc apartment), and conducted industry wide reports. All of which have been FAR more successful than cold outreach. In fact, maybe I’ll write a playbook on what we’ve done so far 👀 — If you want a pack of your own, comment down below — we’re gonna do another batch at the end of the month.     It pains me to say that someone has been scamming in my name. I’ve gotten multiple emails & dms from people saying they received a message from wellsdouraghy.founder.july@gmail.com inviting them to apply for our “summer internship” at July and then asking for a $75 resume review. If you've received one of these emails, I'm very sorry that some lowlife is wasting your time and I recommend two courses of action: 1. Mark the email as spam so it stops showing up in others people's inboxes. 2. Sign them up to whatever spam website or dating website you can find... I've heard Farmers Only has a wickedly persistent email sequence. Anyhow, in all seriousness, we've already found our summer interns. I'd never reach out from a Gmail and I will NEVER ask anyone to pay to apply for a job. Stay safe out there folks!
