Two days after the closing of the Prada Group acquisition of Versace, things appear to have precipitated and the creative direction of the Milan-based brand will change. Dario Vitale is exiting Versace, WWD has learned. According to sources, the designer, who is known for being a constant at the Milan offices and a workaholic, has not been seen for the past few days. Asked for a comment, Versace confirmed Vitale will depart the brand. Details about timing of the exit and the future creative direction of Versace were not available at press time. The Black Friday — or, Black November, as Amazon dubbed its 12-day take on the sales event — numbers are in, and Medicube was beauty's biggest winner. The K-beauty brand accounted for more than 16 percent of all beauty sales on Amazon during the event, beating out the second-biggest brand — CeraVe — by more than 10 points. A new chief executive officer is expected at Italian fashion brand TWINSET. Market sources say Gabriele Maggio, most recently CEO of Elisabetta Franchi, is joining Twinset, succeeding Alessandro Varisco.
