This week, Building to Scale wrapped up its inaugural 10-week training program with a hiring fair for their 12 trainees. This immersive program, developed for individuals looking to start a career in the building industry, provided classroom instruction and hands-on training focused on constructing a modular building from start to finish. The job fair, sponsored by the Home Building Foundation, included employers Fireside Home Solutions, Home Building Foundation, WDC Properties, Pacific Crest Building Supply, Builders FirstSource. and Adair Homes. Developed by HONE, Building to Scale was supported in part by Worksystems with funds from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration's @Build Back Better Regional Challenge. The program also received more than $57,000 of in-kind contributions from industry supporters. Congratulations to the graduates!
