The WTS Atlanta Chapter is dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women.
About us
More than 200 women and men strong, the Atlanta WTS Chapter is one of the longest serving Chapters in the nation and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022. The Chapter is focused on equity, access and the advancement for women in transportation. In collaboration with our international organization, we work locally to offer professional development, mentoring, scholarships, community service and networking opportunities to attract, sustain, connect and advance women’s careers in the transportation industry. Your WTS Atlanta Chapter remains focused on innovating to continue providing you valuable programs and services to enhance your networks and careers. We are finding new ways to collaborate with the WTS community and our industry through engaging virtual programs. We are expanding our horizons with fun activities focused on connecting with one another, health and wellness, and personal and professional growth. And as always, we continue to enhance our continuing education and scholarship opportunities. The Chapter has the distinction of being the largest chapter in the southeast, and it continues to grow as a result of and active and engaged membership and a wide variety of programming and professional development opportunities. At the 2018 WTS Annual Conference, Atlanta was awarded Chapter of the Year and was recognized Circle of Excellence Gold Level. WTS Atlanta is focused on collaborating with the transportation industry to strengthen and support our community’s transportation network through the advancement of women in the industry.
