We fired up the grill this week for our 4th Annual Grillin’ & Chillin’ at Zeal Credit Union, and it was a sizzling success! 🍔 🔥 🌭 🍦 From juicy burgers, local restaurants, hot dogs, chips, sodas, and ice cream bars, our teams got to enjoy a delicious lunch and some well-deserved fun together. At headquarters, staff gathered for a delicious cookout, while our amazing branch leaders grilled and served lunch to their teams. It was the perfect recipe for connection, appreciation, and a whole lot of smiles; because nothing says “thank you” like good food shared with great people. 🧡

We screamed for ice cream and celebrated National Hot Fudge Sundae Day at Zeal Credit Union in the sweetest way possible! Our team got to build their own sundae from our sundae bar. From hot fudge and caramel, to sprinkles, cookies, cherries, and whipped cream, everyone got to top their sundaes just the way they liked it! Great news! The third annual LendKey scholarship program is now open for applications. This year, a total of 10 scholarships ($2,000 each) will be awarded. Applicants must be a member in good standing of an eligible credit union (a full list is available at the link below), including your hometown credit union, Zeal! If you're a high-performing high school senior looking to move into higher education next year (or a college undergraduate continuing your education), this is your opportunity to get help financing your degree. From now until May 15th, our Walled Lake branch has teamed up with the Walled Lake Masons to help collect items for the Oakland County Foster Closet! Did you know that children often arrive in their new foster homes with only the clothes on their back and occasionally a garbage bag to hold any other belongings? The Oakland County Foster Closet, based out of Farmington Hills, offers supportive services, supplies, and more to children in the foster care system - absolutely free. Join us in helping Michigan foster children by donating anything from the attached list of suggested items (or by using the recycling services listed).
