Rohaan spearheaded a critical initiative to enhance accuracy in automated enforcement decisions. Collaborating with the Catalog Discovery Trust Science and Engineering team, he led the deployment of the Notice Validation ML model. This initiative resulted in approximately 3.6K incremental automations in Notices of Infringement (NOIs) and a significant reduction of around 3K in appeal volumes, achieving an impressive 99% precision rate. Rohaan's leadership spanned from the initial design stages to deployment, orchestrating the involvement of multiple stakeholders across various teams including Science, Engineering, Policy, Analytics, Brand Registry Experience, Brand Protection Science, Catalog Discovery Trust Operations, and Selling Partner Trust.
Under Rohaan's guidance, there was a remarkable decrease in listing false positive rates post-launch of NOVA, dropping from approximately 18% in Q2 to about 10% in Q4. Additionally, Rohaan drove the expansion of NOVA, resulting in the deprecation of low-accuracy legacy heuristic automation rules with minimal impact on reporters.
Furthermore, Rohaan represented Amazon's Intellectual Property Policies and best practices, providing valuable assistance to multiple seller customers through one-on-one sessions at the Accelerate Conference 2023 for Amazon Sellers. His contributions extend to various pilots and experiments aimed at swiftly identifying Fake and Abusive Notice Submitters, proposing the Batch Processing ML Automation feature, and assisting in Operational planning exercises.
Rohaan's dedication, leadership, and innovative approach have significantly contributed to enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. -

As next steps he is working with Engineering to backfill which will also address 1300+ tickets awaiting resolution.
Also, he worked with the partner FBA Team to publish a new SQL derived table which can be used by our team to analyze inventory actions taken by SPA team. Without this table one had to write complex queries to join multiple tables. This table also helps us to map the enforcement actions at it enforcement ID level information which is responsible for the inventory action.
The business team spends 0.25 hours (15 mins) per ticket to troubleshoot, for 300 tickets/week SPA team was receiving it equates to 75 hours (9.38 days) worth of time. The bug fix help us 9.38 days of time savings per week. -
