Trump was so surprised that Ukraine would have to change constitution to give away territories. Yes, it would as in US it would. And it has so advanced protection mechanisms that it is almost impossible to change it for the reason of giving up territories. And it starts with - people are against it. In Russia though it seems so easy and no-one minds. Well...Trump also said he was going to Russia to meet Putin. Can't see how he could mix up Alaska and Russia... 🤔😆
They are not giving up territory, they have already lost it with no hope of taking it back. They are losing big chunks today which they won’t get back. They can accept an unfair and ugly peace or keep watching Russia take more of Ukraine every day.
He can give Alaska to Putin.

Trump appears to view the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a simple real estate matter. That people live in Ukraine and would be hurt by the war and any capitulation doesn’t matter to him.
He just thinks of Ukraine as garbage under his feet, preventing him from getting the Nobel Peace Prize.
But Trump is not surprised by Mr. P’s choice of venue.
