Hendricks Veterinary Hospital partners with Street Dog Coalition for pop-up clinics

The NVA Heroes at Hendricks Veterinary Hospital keep unhoused pets and people together—one pop-up clinic at a time. 🐾💙    Since November 2023, Hendricks Veterinary Hospital in Boise, Idaho, has partnered with The Street Dog Coalition—a nonprofit organization providing free veterinary care to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.    Through these pop-up clinics, the team has provided care for around 350 pets. 🐕 The animals receive vaccines, flea and tick prevention, microchips, and vouchers for spay/neuter services and dental care.    “The Street Dog Coalition clinics have had a significant impact on me as a veterinarian by strengthening both my clinical skills and my sense of professional purpose,” said Dr. Robin Lemoine, who leads the efforts in collaboration with the Idaho Humane Society. “As veterinary professionals, our calling is more than treating animals—it’s about strengthening the bond between people and their pets.” ✨    📸: NVA GP’s Hendricks Veterinary Hospital in Boise, ID  . . #NVAHeroes #VetMed #VeterinaryMedicine #StreetDogCoalition #Idaho #Boise | Becky Dugas, Josh Spriggs, Kelsey Prichard

I wish I could take in all of these animals and provide them with a safe and supportive enviornment.
