Our Enhanced Reciprocity pathway has resulted in 1,476 new educators joining classrooms across 196 public school districts and approved private special education programs in CT since 2022. Enhanced Reciprocity has enabled educators certified in other states to quickly obtain an equivalent certification in Connecticut without going through the certification process again. Currently, educators from 21 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico are all eligible for enhanced reciprocity with Connecticut.
