Water is one of our most precious ingredients and at the heart of our craft. Since the founding of Suntory Holdings Limited, we have prioritized honoring, protecting and conserving water as we inspire the brilliance of life, by creating rich experience for people, in harmony with nature. Our dedication is reflected in decades of water research and science and water stewardship goals across our group companies.    This World Water Week, we reflect on our progress at Suntory Global Spirits. In our direct operations, we’ve reduced our water usage rate by nearly 53% and replenished more than 15% of the water we use in our high-risk watersheds. We've also preserved nearly 7,000 hectares of forests through our Natural Water Sanctuary Initiative in Kentucky and our Peatland Water Sanctuary Initiative in Scotland has restored over 300 hectares of peatlands, building on our original efforts in Japan.
